TRAMPOLINE TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ZONE VI

The Competition Rules are based on the following:
Trampoline and double-mini based on FIG Technical Regulations and subsequent decisions of the Technical Committees of the Federations of Zone VI and the Organizing Committee
Mini-trampoline based on SA Mini-trampoline code
- Competition Age Limits
Trampoline Men (TRM) and Women (TRW)
Seniors: Minimum age 15 in the year of competition.
Juniors: Maximum age 14 in the year of competition.
Double-Mini -trampoline Boys (DM-TRB) and Girls (DM-TRG)
Seniors: Minimum age 15 in the year of competition.
Juniors: Maximum age 14 in the year of competition.
Mini-trampoline Boys (M-TRB) and Girls (M-TRG)
Pre-Juniors: Minimum age 9, Maximum age 12 in the year of competition.
- Official Competitions
Trampoline
Individual and Team Competition for Men and Women (Seniors and Juniors), Boys and Girls PreJuniors.
Each Federation is entitled to participate with a minimum of 3 gymnasts or a maximum of 4 gymnasts for Juniors, Seniors and Pre-Juniors for the team competition. Federations who do not have 3 or more gymnasts may enter one individual gymnast to be eligible for individual awards.
Syncro pairs competition will be for Senior male & female and Junior boys & girls, however, syncro pairs MUST be compiled from individual trampoline gymnasts (one team per country)
Double mini trampoline for Senior men & women and Junior boys & girls
Each Federation will be limited to 4 members per team for this competition of which at least 2 must also compete in the Euro trampoline event.
- Competition ScoringlResults Trampoline:
Team and Individual All Round Competition for Seniors, Juniors and Pre-Juniors
on the following apparatus: Trampoline, Double-mini trampoline and mini trampoline The team score will be calculated by adding the best three (3) scores of four (4) for the preliminary and final routines to arrive at the team total.
The Individual all round score consists of the scores of the preliminary and the final routines and the total score is reached by adding the preliminary and final scores.
- Content and Difficulty Requirements of Exercises
Trampoline: The FIG Age Group Rules will apply with adjustments as stated below
Competitors who have participated in the previous (1 prior to current Zone 6 competition) World Championships or World Age Group Championships may not participate on the apparatus he/she was awarded National colours in.
Trampoline: A competition constitutes I compulsory routine and I voluntary routine. Routines must be handed to the organizers written on an official competition card before the competition starts, at a time and place as stipulated by the organizing committee. Changes to the voluntary routines are allowed without penalty. Repeats of skills will result in no difficulty being awarded for the repeated skill, in cases where the difficulty is lower than 0.5, a deduction of 0.5 will be made.
Changes to the compulsory routine will result in determination of the routine.
Seniors:
Compulsory:
1. 1/1 twist (back)
2. straight barani
3. layout
4. tuck barani
5. 1 1/4 pike back
6. pike pull-over
7. pike barani
8. pike back
9. swan dive
10. barani ball-out
Voluntary: 9 Skills with minimum 270 degrees rotation. Difficulty not allowed to be less than difficulty of skills in compulsory routine, i.e. 5.7. If the routine is completed and the difficulty is less than compulsory routine must be deducted of 1.0 from each execution judge.
Juniors:
Compulsory:
1. layout

3. tuck bounce
4. 3/4 layout
5. cody tuck
6. pike bounce
7. tuck barani
8. tuck back
9. swan dive
10. barani ball-out
Voluntary: Voluntary skills. Difficulty not allowed to be less than difficulty of skills in compulsory routine, i.e. 4.2. If the routine is completed and the difficulty is less than compulsory routine must be deducted of 1.0 from each execution judge.
The score from the compulsory routine (no difficulty value) is carried over to the final and added to the voluntary routine to determine the competitor’s final total score.
Ten trampoline competitors will be allowed to go through to the finals, if less than 10 competitors then all gymnasts may participate in the final round.
Syncro: A competition will consist of the same rules that apply to the individual competition.
Double-mini Trampoline: A competition will consist of 2 compulsory and 2 voluntary routines, the first 2 routines will determine the final 10 starting list (as per trampoline) these scores will be carried forward and added to the score of the two final routines to determine the final score
Seniors: Compulsory routines:
1. Tuck back (spotter) rudi (dismount)
2. Straight barani (mount or spotter) Full Twist (dismount)
Voluntary: All skills with minimum of 360 degrees rotation. Difficulty not allowed to be less than difficulty of skills in compulsory routine. Deduction of 1.0 from each execution judge if difficulty is less.
Juniors: Compulsory routines:
1. Tuck back (spotter) Straight barani (dismount
2. Tuck front (mount or spotter) pike front (dismount)
Voluntary: All skills with minimum 360 degrees rotation. Difficulty not allowed to be less than difficulty of skills in compulsory routine. Deduction of 1.0 from each execution judge if difficulty is less.
The score and difficulty will be calculated according FIG rules.
Mini-Trampoline: A competition is made up out of 5 voluntary routines. 2 neatness routines with no difficulty value and 3 voluntary routines. Only the difficulty of routines 3, 4 and 5 will count. Repeats of skills will result in no difficulty being awarded for the repeated skill, in cases where the difficulty is lower than 0.5, a deduction of 0.5 will be made.
The difficulty will be according to the new difficulty table like double mini-trampoline.
