Congratulations to the following members who made the team!

OFFICIALS

The following officials will do double duty, as coach and judge:

Andre Labuschagne - Eastern Gauteng
Jean Viviers - Eastern Cape
Andre Labuschagne, manager of Trampoline group while in Zimbabwe.

The following seniors will also judge when they do not compete:
Mduduzi Nxumalo
Elizabeth Machete

Coaches
Theo Kambule - Vaal
Mercy Ngobeni, qualified level 2 coach, will assist with coaching when she doesn’t compete.

Important

Since the competitors participated in the trials it is taken for granted that they will accompany the team to Harare. However, if any of the competitors or officials wish to withdraw kindly inform Helen accordingly at the latest by Tuesday 10 October. Competitors and officials who did not comply with this request will be liable for cancellation fees on flight and accommodation reservations.

ID numbers are needed urgently please submit missing ID numbers to Riana at bezroos@iafrica.com as soon as possible.

Team training

A Combined Training camp for North Circle gymnasts competing at AFCH and Zone 6 to be held on Saturday 21 October 2006 from 10h00 – 12h30 (fee R20) for Zone 6 and 13h00 – 15h30 AFCH (fee R30).

Estimated costs

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE (subject to change)

PROVISIONAL COSTS

Approximately R5 500 per gymnast. A new supplier has been appointed by the SAGF to supply the track suits, as a result of this change every member of the team must purchase a new tracksuit.

Please complete order forms as a matter of urgency and return by fax to 031 701 7580. Leotard remains the same as 2004/2005 (Navy/green with teardrop design in front) – see order form. An official T-Shirt is available – please order as per order form.

Please do not transfer any monies as abovementioned is a guideline only and needs to be confirmed by SAGF.

PASSPORTS

To ensure booking - every team member must have a valid passport, please fax a copy of the first page of the passport to Team Manager – Fax : 031 701 7580 as a matter of urgency. Should you not be in the possession of a passport please apply for a temporary passport and in the meantime fax a copy of the first page of your identity document or birth certificate to Team Manager. Please note no gymnasts will be able to travel without his/her passport.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Any special requirements i.e. medication, special diet etc. or should you need more information – please contact official Team Manager

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT FOR PARENTS

Parents who wish to accompany team needs to arrange own transport. The Zimbabwe Gymnastic Federation however arranged accommodation at The Bronte Hotel and Baines B & B at a 25% discount. Please contact them on the e-mail address bronte@mweb.co.zw or tel +2634796631-5 or fax +263 4 721429.
