_mg_1737.jpg12 November 2009. Tumbling and Double mini athlete Bianca Budler in her debut as a senior competitor has qualified for the finals of the Women’s Tumbling Qualifications at the Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships.

This is Bianca’s first championship competing as a senior. She performed 2 clean passes in the preliminary round and ranked 8th going into the finals. Currently ranked 8th in the Women’s Tumbling World Rankings for 2009, Bianca from Port Elizabeth competes later this afternoon in the Double Mini Trampoline Qualification.

Team mate Karen Wilson, performed one of the best straight passes of the day. In her twisting pass however, she performed a double pike dismount instead of a twisting dismount. As a result the judges gave her a heavy penalty and that resulted in her not making the finals.

Riding the wave of success from the Tumbling qualification, Bianca may cause further ripples in the double mini trampoline qualification.
