I wish to welcome you as member of the South African Delegation travelling to the African
Gymnastics Championships to be held in Walvis Bay, Namibia from 28 February to 13 March 2010.
Herewith below are the basic team arrangements for the envisaged championships. Please note
that these are currently only provisional and we will advise you of any changes to these
arrangements if / when they materialize. Please note particularly all information required from
you and all the deadlines specified. Your adherence to the deadlines is particularly vital.
For any discipline-specific / technical information, please inquire from your respective disciplines,
whom I will regularly keep in contact with and will do my best to ensure that we are in unison
regarding logistical arrangements of the trip.
Thank you and good luck with your preparations for the event!
The Black Top Trampoline code update is applicable with immidiate effect.
Changes in execution deductions and termination rule for a straight jump in a routine in FIG code, made adjustments necessary in Black Top Code.
Furthermore, after careful consideration it was decided that the 6 and under routine was too difficult for this age group and this routine was made easier.
